Shirley A. Wise

Shirley A. Wise, 79, of Gordonville, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. Her husband of 45 years, William R. Wise, survives.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late John Kurtz and Arletta (Longenecker) Arment.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children: Jeffrey Good (Patricia), New Holland; Robert Good (Karen), Harrisburg; Kathi Matos (Steven), Ephrata; David S. Wise (Natalie), Robesonia; Michael Wise (Laura), Strasburg; Bridgett Ryan (Dennis), Gap; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Pat Mummaw, Gordonville and Dawn Ressler, East Earl.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Richard Kurtz.
