Stephen L. Weaver

Stephen L. Weaver, 45, of 887 S. Muddy Creek Road, Stevens, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of John Z. and Barbara (Leinbach) Weaver of Stevens. He was married to Lydia H. (Martin) Weaver.

Stephen was a dairy farmer and a member of the Muddy Creek Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are nine children, Joanne M., married to Lawrence Brubaker of Denver, Jonathan M., Rosalyn M., Daryl M., Keith M., Brian M., Steven M., Loren M., and Kathryn M. Weaver all at home; a granddaughter; three brothers, Timothy L., married to Lydia (Snyder) Weaver of Martinsburg, PA, Leon L., married to Mary (Nolt) Weaver of Stanley, NY, and Lloyd L., married to Doris (Zimmerman) Weaver of Stanley, NY; and two sisters, Lucille, married to Nelson Zimmerman of New Enterprise, and Linda, married to Ray H. Martin of New Holland.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at the Muddy Creek Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the late home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
