Steven Vance Owens

Steven Vance Owens, Sr., 63, of East Earl, died at home on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

He was married 14 years to Linda S. Oudinot Owens. Born in Blytheville, AR, he was the son of Laverne Hodge Owens of Falkner, MS and the late Hewlett V. Owens.

Steven had spent many years working as a carpenter. He enjoyed working in his lawn, woodworking and doing crossword puzzles.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Steven, Jr. husband of Joelynn Owens of Cherry Hill, NJ, Andy Looney of Memphis, TN and Chris Owens of Memphis, TN; a daughter, Elizabeth wife of Michael Spinola of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren; and a sister, Susan wife of Harrell Caviness of Falkner, MS.

Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
