Steven L. Reiff

Steven L. Reiff, 51, of Ephrata, passed to heaven at home on Saturday, April 6, 2024 after an intense but brief illness. He was the husband of Jennifer L. Richardson Reiff and father of three teenage sons: Toby (19), Simon (17), and Caleb (15). He also leaves behind his parents, J. Titus and Miriam Kready Reiff of New Holland, and three older brothers: Don, husband of Amy Zimmerman Reiff of East Earl; Gary, husband of Bonnie Batchelder Reiff of Nottingham, NH; and Jeff, husband of Anita Leaman Reiff of Morgantown.

Steven graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High School in 1991 and Eastern Mennonite University in 1996. He and his wife spent 4 years together in Tokyo working at the Christian Academy in Japan. He was employed as an agricultural engineer for the Lancaster County Conservation District. Steven was part of the Petra Church family.

Steven cared about each person he talked with and seemed to know everyone. He was deeply committed to helping farmers clean up the Lancaster County streams, and he was always up for a family adventure.

A Service Celebrating Steven’s Life will be held on Sunday, April 21, at 3:00 P.M. at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, PA with Pastors Ken Reinford and Tom Eshleman officiating. The family will visit with friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
