Susan H. Kurtz

Susan H. (Fisher) Kurtz, 98, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, formerly of Narvon, died Friday, March 7 at Garden Spot Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph I. Kurtz in 2012.

Born in Honey Brook Twp., she was the daughter of the late John and Rachel (Smoker) Fisher.

She was a homemaker and a member of Rockville Mennonite Church, Honey Brook.

Surviving are four children: Ivan married to Erma (Stoltzfus) Kurtz, Honey Brook; Ruth married to Martin Landis, Mechanicsburg; Lois married to Wilmer Miller, McClure; Walter married to Mildred (Musser) Kurtz, Narvon; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; seven great-great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren; and two sisters: Ada Fisher and Anna Beiler, both of Honey Brook.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and a great grandchild.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. Interment in Conestoga Mennonite Cemetery.
