Thelma E. Nolt, 63, of Mohnton, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
She was married 44 years to Weaver M. Nolt, Jr. Born in Reinholds, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Verna Weaver Horning.
Thelma had worked in the Gift Shop at Shady Maple for many years. She was a member of Park View Mennonite Church. Her interests included camping, biking on trails, gardening and she was an avid scrapbooker.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Quintin husband of Deann Nolt, of Frystown, and Glendon husband of Sarah Nolt of Reinholds; two daughters, Jessica wife of Jeff Dieffenbach of Stevens, and Paula wife of Jerry Musser of Myerstown; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; three sisters, Lorraine wife of Bennett Charlton of Dalton, OH, Alma wife of Nelson Martin of Mount Joy, and Ruth Ann wife of Roy Martin of New Holland; two brothers, Leonard husband of Elaine Horning of Denver, and Kenneth husband of Karen Horning of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Joyce Martin and Erma Frey and by brothers, Wilmer Horning and Nevin Horning.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 12th, at 2:30 P.M. at Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, PA with Ministers Matt Martin, Nelson Rutt and Roger Martin officiating. Viewings will be held at Martindale Mennonite Church on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday from 1:30 P.M. until the time of the service. . Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
