Theodore D. Casey

Theodore "Ted" D. Casey, 89 of New Holland, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones after a 14-month-long battle with cancer on September 3, 2025. He was born in Norristown, PA, to the late Theodore and Helen Casey. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Laura Bostain and his wife Anne Casey. A seasoned farmer, inventor, respected mechanic, award-winning salesman, avid learner, sportsman and a leader in his community. He was an active member of the following: Rough & Tumble Engineers Historical Association; Waterloo Boys of Southeastern PA; Rootes Family of Vehicles TEAE International; Lions Club of Landisville; Penn Dutch Sportsman Club; and Taste of Britain Lancaster MG Club. He enjoyed working on and driving tractors of all makes and models, but only owned green tractors himself. Mechanically inclined, he could fix anything, enjoyed a challenge and would frequently fix things for his loved ones. His family and loved ones often described him as “the smartest person” they know, with a wicked sense of humor. The Man, The Myth, The Legend. He is survived by his children, Janet (Pete) Evans, Dorothy Nycholas, Andrew (Nicki) Casey, grandchildren Jason Evans, Laura Casey, Anthony Nycholas, Emily Nycholas, Leo Nycholas, Ian Nycholas, Noah Nycholas, Madison Casey, Mason Casey, Myles Nycholas, Matthew Casey, Savannah Casey, great-grandchildren Jorden and Casey Williams, and Ava Evans.
