Therese Androwick

Therese “Terry” (Koller) Androwick, 81, of New Holland, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Oct. 15, 1934 in Bodenmais, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Sylvest and Mathilde Koller.

Terry was the loving wife of Bill Androwick for 60 years. The couple met in Fuessen, Germany where Terry was a waitress at a local Gasthaus. Bill was serving in the Army, stationed in Linz, Austria. The couple married in Munich, Germany on Dec. 10th, 1954 at the courthouse and then on Jan. 10th, 1955 in the bride’s hometown of Bodenmais, Germany. They moved to West Chester, PA, where they raised four children. Besides raising their four children, Terry worked a variety of jobs, including running the former Melody Hall country store in East Goshen, PA for three years with her husband Bill.

Terry loved gardening, bowling, golfing, spending time with friends and family, playing games, and cooking good German food.

The couple relocated to New Holland, PA in 1997, where Terry was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, Bill, Terry is survived by her son William Androwick (Terry) of Honey Brook, PA; daughters Rita (Gary) Gamache of West Grove, PA, Heidi Androwick of Pomeroy, PA, and Christine (David) Fredericksen of Boyertown, PA; 9 grandchildren: William J. Androwick, Michelle (Mike) Zeitz, Heidi (Anthony) Raimato, Emily (Josh) Smith, Britta Gamache, Erik Fredericksen, Krista Gamache, Mark Fredericksen, and Madie Fredericksen; and one great-grandchild, Colin Zeitz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St, New Holland, PA 17557 with Father Walter Guzman officiating. Interment will take place at Green Mount Cemetery, 117 Westtown Rd, West Chester, PA 19382. Viewing will take place from 10-11 AM on Thursday at the church.
