Thomas H. Collins, 66, of Robeson Township, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on August 15, 2021 in his residence.
Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Warren O. and Josephine S. (Cypranowski) Collins.
He was the loving husband to Bertha C. (Lantz) Collins with whom he married on February 27, 1993 and they shared twenty eight years of marriage.
He was a graduate of Phoenixville Area High School. He was employed by Singer Equipment Company for fourteen years as a Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
His favorite place to be was in New Jersey living on his boat, swaying with the waves and watching for wildlife. He loved to sit and watch nature and go hiking. He also loved to travel and lived several places including New Hampshire where he served in Park Services, New Mexico where he famously and accidentally scared a Gila monster, and Pennsylvania where he spent most of his life, loving the summers but not the winter snow. As a young man he served in the United States Navy.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his daughter; Moriah J. Camac wife of Daniel Camac and his beloved and goofy dog; Chandler. He is also survived by his brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, his is predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August, 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Keith Roberts officiating in C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E Main Street, Terre Hill PA 17581. There will be a viewing held one hour prior to the time of service. Interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery.
