Thomas D. Merchlinski

Thomas D. Merchlinski, 72, of New Holland, passed away at home on Monday, August 19, 2024.

He was the partner of Karen L. Bowers.

Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late Jerome and Margaret (Miklusin) Merchlinski.

Tom was a 1969 graduate of Garden Spot High School and had been previously employed by Brubacher Excavating and Horst Excavating. He was a member of the American Legion Post 662, a life member of the Gap VFW Post 7418, and the Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs. He enjoyed boating, Key West, Old Mill and surfing the web.

Surviving besides his companion is a son, Joshua Merchlinski; three grandchildren, Lilah, Henry and Asher; and two brothers, Francis Merchlinski and John husband of Kathy Merchlinski. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Miklusin.

Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions in Tom’s memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy PA 17552.
