Thomas Morris

Tom Morris, Age 78, formerly of Scranton, PA, died peacefully at Garden Spot Village, 433 S Kinzer Avenue, New Holland, PA on February 19, 2016.

Beloved husband of Susan for 56 years.

Surviving besides his wife are his 3 children: Karen, Scott and Ted.

Tom was a graduate of Keystone Jr. College and Penn State University where he majored in Business Administration. He first worked as a Claims Adjuster at Liberty Mutual. After 20 years employment at Philadelphia Life Insurance Company and 10 years at Fitch Investors Service in New York City, he retired from Fitch as Director of Human Resources.

He was especially proud of his Welsh heritage and was a lifetime member of the Welsh Society of Philadelphia, attending as many of their events as possible. He and his family also attended many National “Gymanfa Ganu” Welsh hymn sings throughout the US and Canada. A special highlight for Tom was a trip to Wales in 2002.

Lots of family camping trips and attending or watching the Phillies games on TV were other favorite activities for Tom and his family.
