Thomas B. Waddington Jr.

Thomas B. Waddington Jr., 69, of New Holland, passed away on May 19, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Darby, he was the son of the late Thomas B. Waddington Sr. and Elizabeth Jane (Bates) Greaves-Wolf.

He retired from D.M. Stoltzfus and Sons, where he was the shipping manager. He was a member of Ranck’s United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 662. He enjoyed cookouts with family, hanging out with friends, car cruising and loving on his beloved puppy dog Daisy.

Tom is survived by his fiancé, J. Kathryn Wilson, his children, Jennifer Hurdle (Michael), Jo Waddington, Samantha Waddington-Costa (Brandon), John Zachary Waddington, Cheyenne Nicole Waddington, Michelle Bruhn (Lowell) and Christopher Newswanger and many grandchildren. His siblings, Louann, Doug, Chuck and Sharon.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Zane and his siblings, Greg, Bill, Susan and George.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Ranck’s United Methodist Church, 700 Ranck Road, New Holland PA 17557. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the time of service. We will be raising a toast to Tom’s memory on Friday night (23rd) after 5pm at the Legion on Hoover Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 662, 35 S Hoover Avenue, New Holland PA 17557 or to Hospice and Community Care, 4075 Harrisburg Pike, Mt Joy PA 17552.
