Timothy Blasko

Timothy Blasko, 85 of New Holland, PA, formerly of Randolph, NJ died Friday, June 9, 2017 at Garden Spot Village. His wife, Shirley F. (Rarich) Blasko, survives.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, he was the son of the late Moses and Mary (Henaluk) Blasko.

During the Korean Conflict, he served in the Air Force.

He then received a Bachelor's Degree from Kings College and a Master's Degree from Montclair State University.

Tim was a middle school teacher, teaching American history and outdoor education. In his retirement, he became a Master Gardener and a nurseryman.

After moving to New Holland, he attended The Community Church at Garden Spot Village.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Sharon B. Reno (Gregg), and a son Peter S. Blasko; granddaughters Amy C. Reno and Megan Udinski (Adam); a great-granddaughter Lucy Udinski and a brother, Rev. Paul Blasko.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael and a brother Mark.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 -2 p.m. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, 18 Hilltop Rd., Mendham NJ on Wednesday, June 14 at 1 p.m. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
