Titus Weaver Horning

Titus W. Horning, 93, of East Earl, passed away at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital on Wednesday. November 6, 2024.

He was the husband of the late Edna M. Rissler Horning who died in 2000. Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Samuel and Frances Weaver Horning.

Titus had been a farmer for many years and then operated the Solid State Repair Shop in his retirement years. He was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving is a son, Amos R. husband of Grace Martin Horning of Ephrata; a daughter, Anna R. wife of Cleason Martin of East Earl; 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sarah Oberholtzer of New Holland, and Martha Shirk of Ephrata. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Laura Horning, a great granddaughter, Lily Martin, brothers, Mahlon, Noah, and Samuel Horning and by a sister, Ruth Burkholder.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 11, at 9:30 A.M. at the Weaverland Mennonite Church, 1120 Weaverland Road, East Earl, PA with Bishop Marvin Nolt officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held at the late home, 4451 Division Highway, East Earl, PA on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
