Titus S. Zimmerman

Titus S. Zimmerman, 86, of Narvon, passed away on April 30, 2024 in his residence.

Born on March 31, 1938, in Earl Township, he was the son of the late Noah S. and Lizzie N. (Sauder) Zimmerman.

He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Zimmerman, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

He was a member of Churchtown Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference) and he was a retired farmer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, John David Zimmerman of East Earl, Carl Eugene (Linda) Zimmerman of New Holland and Calvin (Marian) Zimmerman of Chula, MO, 6 daughters, Vera Jane (Lavern) Newswanger of Morgantown, Mary Beth (David) Horst of Penn Yan, NY, Priscilla (Lamar) Shirk of Thorp, WI, Linda (John Aaron) Shirk of Barnett, MO, Esther Mae (Ivan) Sensenig of Narvon and Janice (Mervin) Hoover of Denver, daughter in law, Cheryl Zimmerman of East Waterford, 68 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Leroy Zimmerman and Noah (Ella) Zimmerman, 3 sisters, Alta (John) Weaver, Anna Mary Hoover, Esther (Alvin) Horst, brother-in-law, Raymond Burkholder, sister-in-law, Mary Ella Zimmerman.

He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Lynn Zimmerman, 2 great granddaughters, 2 brothers, Ivan and David Zimmerman, sister, Mabel Burkholder, brother-in-law, Leroy Hoover and sister-in-laws, Verna Zimmerman and Ruth Zimmerman.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Churchtown Mennonite Church, 2207 Main Street, Narvon PA 17555 with Bishop Leon Zimmerman officiating. A Viewing will be held at the late home, 182 S Poole Forge Road, Narvon, PA 17555 on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
