Treva C. Folkman

Treva C. Folkman, 97, of Lancaster, died Friday, September 13, 2013 at her home.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Bessie (Clime) Wolfskill. Her husband, Marcus C. Folkman, died in 1982.

Treva graduated from The Kree International School of Electrolysis in N.Y.C. and later graduated from the Harvard Medical School for Clinical Medical Electrolysis. She owned and operated her own Beauty Salon for many years in Lancaster.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and won several blue ribbons at the York Fair. She was also a Phillies fan.

Surviving are three sons, C. William, married to Patricia (Wiker) Folkman of Lancaster, John Folkman of Lancaster, and Philip Folkman of Lancaster with whom she resided; and a sister, Betty Long of Yardley, PA.

Preceding her in death is a daughter, Jacqueline Zarfos; and two sons, Donald T. and Elwood R. “Skip” Folkman.
