Vera B. Martin

Vera B. Martin, 85, of 357 Hammertown Road, Narvon, died Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Born in Martindale, she was the daughter of the late Rueben S. and Annie B. (Burkholder) Martin. Her husband, John H. Martin, died previously.

Vera was a homemaker and a member of the Churchtown Old Order Mennonite Church.

Surviving are six children, Erma, married to Martin Zeiset of Wisconsin,, Edna, married to Weaver Burkholder of Saegertown, David, married to Vera (Burkholder) Martin of West Virginia, Alice,m married to Glen Ringler of East Earl, Mary, married to Lewis Horst of East Earl, and John Martin of Saegertown; 31 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Maggie, Mary, and Elsie Martin.

Preceding her in death is a son, Edward Martin; four sisters; and six brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 9 AM at the late home with further services at 9:30 AM at the Churchtown Old Order Mennonite Church with the Bishop Elam Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday at the late home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
