Vera M. Leid

Vera M. (Zeiset) Leid, 84, of East Earl, passed away on March 29, 2024 in her residence.

Born in Narvon, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Lydia M. (Martin) Zeiset.

She was the wife of Levi B. Leid.

She was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference) and was a homemaker.

Vera is survived by her husband and her children; Elvin (Linda) Leid of Withee WI, Wilmer (Alma) Leid of Denver, PA, John (Esther) Leid of Withee, WI, Norman (Julia) Leid of Thorp, WI, Levi (Linda) of Stanley, WI, Ellen Leid at home and Adam Leid at home, 42 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers; Jonas (Anna) Zeiset and Ivan (Naomi) Zeiset, sisters; Alta Sauder, Laura Zimmerman, Eva Martin, Esther Weaver, and Lena (Abram) Ringler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers; Martin William, Phares, John Jacob, Aaron, Eli and Paul, 7 sisters; Anna, Edna, Mary, Emma, Martha, Lydia and Mabel.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Martindale Mennonite Church, 905 Martindale Road, Ephrata PA 17522 with Bishop Leon N. Zimmerman officiating. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 916 Terre Hill Road, East Earl PA 17519 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
