Vera S. Nolt

Vera S. Nolt, 85, of 226 Gristmill Road, New Holland, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her home after declining health.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late John M. and Leah (Shirk) Nolt.

She was a member of the Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference and worked as a seamstress for many years at local sewing factories.

Surviving are two sisters, Sue Etta Nolt and Leah S. Nolt both with whom she resided.

Preceding her in death are four sisters and three brothers, Ella Martin, Mary Nolt, Frances Buckwalter, Harvey Nolt, Emma Nolt, John C. Nolt, and Daniel Nolt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 9 AM at the late home with further services at 9:30 AM at the Groffdale Mennonite Church with the Bishop Curvin Z. Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday at the late home from 5 – 8 PM. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland.
