Vickie Lynn Harnish

Vickie L. Harnish, 60, of Narvon, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

She was the wife of Robin J. “Rob” Harnish with whom she celebrated 36 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Susan Boley Fryberger.

Vickie worked for Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home in Narvon, for many years, along with piecing quilt tops for Obie’s Country Store in Goodville. She enjoyed checking out thrift stores, scratch off tickets and most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter, Georgia wife of Thomas Parker of Mohnton; two sons, Jeremiah Harnish and Bronson Harnish both of Narvon; seven grandchildren; a sister, Peggy wife of Kenneth Hanna of Narvon; and a brother, Kenneth "Butch" husband of Phyllis Fryberger of Denver.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22, at 11:00 A.M. at Gospel Tabernacle, 895 Red Hill Road, Narvon, PA with the Rev. Dennis Moyer officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vickie’s memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
