Vickie Leister

Vickie Leister, 59, of 75 Willow Dr., Ephrata, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 27 at the Ephrata Community Hospital emergency room. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Harold “Hal” Leister.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of Belva (Parmer) Fralick of Ephrata and the late Norman Fralick.

Vickie was last employed at D & E Communications as an analyst. She enjoyed crafts and baking.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother is a son, Andrew married to Rebecca Mullenax of Brickerville, a step-son Scott married to Joy Leister of Akron; seven grandchildren; and an uncle Gene Parmer of Terre Hill.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 pm at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill. A viewing will be held at Eckenroth’s on Wednesday from 6:30 – 8 pm.
