Vincent J. Donovan

Vincent J. Donovan, 83, of New Holland, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at his daughter’s residence. He was the loving husband of Margaret “Peg” J. (Monappello) Donovan, with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, Vincent was the son of the late William J. and Mary Georgina (McDermitt) Donovan.

Vincent worked as a paper maker for the Container Corporation of America in Manyunk. In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Vincent is survived by two children: Donald F. Cronin, significant other to Lesley Logan, of Terre Hill, and Valerie Anne Madenford, wife of Charles E. Madenford III, of Lititz; and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 12 PM at Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland PA 17557 with Chaplain Nilda Roman officiating. Interment will be in Zeltenreich UCC Cemetery, New Holland. Viewing will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home prior to services. Arrangements by Beck Funeral Home, New Holland.
