Vincent Joseph Paparo

Vincent Joseph Paparo, 74, of Akron, PA passed away on March 13, 2025.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Jospeh Vincent Paparo Sr. and Miriam G. (Dennis) Paparo.

He was the husband of Kay E. (Myers) Paparo, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

He previously attended St. Stephen Reformed Church and was the owner and operator of Goodyear Shoe Service in Sinking Spring, PA for the last 20 years. He had previously worked for Blue Ball National Bank for 25 years as VP of Commercial Lending and was an auctioneer with Claude Bechtold . He was a member of the Ephrata Amvet Post 136 and Shoe Repair International. He was an avid Phillies fan. He will be remembered most for his big heart and his love for helping others. His family would also like to thank his loyal customers over the years.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Kay, his sons, Ryan V. Paparo fiancé of Charlotte R. Metzgar Akron, PA and Mark A. husband of Katie J. Paparo Sinking Spring, PA grandchildren, Averie, Gracie, Andrew and Hannah and great granddaughter, Karlie. Also surviving are his brothers, Joseph V. Paparo Jr. husband of Sandra, Gregory E. Paparo husband of Brenda and Edmund C. Paparo husband of Lori, step sister, Catherine Garner and sister in law, Dianne Paparo.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Michael S. Paparo.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 22. 2025 at 10:00 AM at Salem Bible Church, 575 Voganville Road, New Holland PA 17557. Interment will be held in St. Stephen Reformed Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
