Violet H. Good

Violet H. Good, 98, a resident of Ephrata Manor, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

She was the wife of the late Edwin G. Good who died in 1979. Born in Brecknock Twp, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Sallie Horting Zimmerman.

Violet was a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church and enjoyed being part of the sewing circle. She enjoyed flower gardening. Violet was a homemaker, and also had been employed at Spring Glen Fresh Foods and Weaver’s Market in the past.

Surviving is a son, Robert L. husband of Lois (Clymer) Good of Denver, a daughter, Sharon wife of Harry Lehman of Denver; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; and a brother, Warren Zimmerman of Denver. She was preceded in death by siblings, Chester, Lloyd, Irvin, and Bessie Zimmerman, Irene Stoner, Mabel Sensenig, Marie Knauer and Jane Burkholder.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 29, at 10:30 A.M. at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Road, East Earl, PA with Pastor Tony Witmer officiating, The family will greet friends at the church on Monday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
