IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Walter
Millisock
November 15, 1964 – December 27, 2025
Walter “Walt” Millisock, 61, passed away on December 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS—a fight he faced with the same determination, grit, and stubborn strength that defined his life on the Welsh Mountain. Born on November 15, 1964, he was the son of Martha Millisock and Chester Watters, both deceased.
Walt was proudly from the Welsh Mountains and a true Lancaster City pioneer. Known for his unforgettable personality, he had a rare gift for connecting with people from all walks of life. Whether through a joke, a story, or simply his presence, Walt could make anyone laugh. He brought warmth into every room he entered and left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
Walt is survived by his daughter, Natasha Millisock—his pride, his joy, and the center of his world. Through her, he was blessed with three beloved grandchildren: Savieon Parrish, Jadieanna Parrish, and Avioni Vasques. Being their grandfather brought him immeasurable happiness, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He is also survived by his brother, Chester Millisock Sr., with whom he shared a lifelong and unbreakable bond. If Walt reached out, Chester’s hand was always there—steady, supportive, and unwavering for his baby brother. Walt is further survived by many cousins, young and old. He knew each one of them and never failed to have a story, a joke, or a lecture ready.
Walt was preceded in death by his siblings Carrie Perez (Millisock) and Alvin Millisock, whose memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
Walt will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and his steady presence. He faced every challenge—including his illness—with fortitude and heart, always in true “Walt style.” His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friends he made, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
