Wayne F. Wright

Wayne F. Wright, 82, of Ephrata, died Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera H. (Huber) Wright in 1999.

Wayne graduated from Northern Potter Joint Schools in 1963. He came to Lancaster to service in 1-W service and later became employed by Armstrong World Industries, retiring in 1999 as a flooring inspector.

Surviving are two children: Denise Sellard married to John Fox, Columbia, Darin Wright, Ephrata, three grandchildren: Joey (Lexi) Wright, Blake Zimmerman, Caitlyn Sellard and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Brice Zimmerman.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11 AM at Weaverland Church. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Weaverland Church, 210 Weaverland Valley Rd., East Earl, PA 17519. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
