William P. Fick

William P. Fick, 72, of 33 Union Ave., New Holland, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster after a year long battle with cancer.

Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Paul and Emma (Epler) Fick. He would have been married 40 years on April 29 to Doris (Ziemer) Fick.

During the Vietnam Era William served his country with the Army Intelligence Service. For the past 27 years he has owned and operated his own furniture restoration business.

William was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the New Holland American Legion Post 662.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Ryan, married to Christine (Zufelt) Fick of Kirkville, NY; and a sister, Donna, married to Rick Reber of Pratt, KS.

Preceding him in death is a sister, Joan Yoder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27 at 10 am at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with the Reverend Melvin Stehr officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 9-10 am.
