William L. Martin

William L. Martin, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2024. He was a resident at Fairmont Homes, Ephrata, PA.

Born in Caernarvon Twp., Lancaster County, he was a son of the late William G. and Anna S. (Lichty) Martin.

He was the loving husband of Ruth Ann (Martin) Martin for 63 years.

Bill was a chicken farmer for many years as well as a truck driver. He retired from Martin Limestone.

He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed traveling, landscaping, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are five children, Randall L., (Lois Good) Martin of East Earl, William D. Martin of New Holland, Sharon L., (Steve) Foor of East Earl, Kimberly A., (Joe) Finkey of East Earl, and Krista K., (Paul) Primrose of Pratt, KS, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and four siblings, Ray (Kathryn) Martin of New Holland, Alice (Mark) Yoder of Ephrata, Earl (Fran) Martin of Milton, and Anna (Clifford) Day of New Holland.

Preceding him in death are seven siblings, Helen Parish, Irvin Martin, Harry Martin, Milton Martin, Cathryn Hurst, Irene Sauder, and James Martin.

The family wishes to thank Fairmount Homes for the kind care given to their father during his decline.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Christian Fellowship Church, 758 Spruce Street, New Holland PA 17557 with Reverend Dave Horst officiating. A Visitation will be held from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM. A private interment will be held in Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery.
