Willoughby B. Dobbs

Willoughby B. Dobbs, 73, of Rockville, MD, passed away on December 4, 2021, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Born in New London, Connecticut, he was the son of the late John R. and Rita (Long) Dobbs.

He was the loving husband of Lucinda K. (Sensenig) Dobbs, whom he married on August 14, 1982, and shared 39 loving years of marriage.

Willoughby proudly served his country in the United States Navy Submarine Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander in 1993. Following his time in the Navy, he worked as a computer network administrator. He retired in 2014. He enjoyed woodworking, sailing, traveling and was an avid Red Sox fan.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children: Kristin Dobbs Schulman, wife of Michael A. Schulman; and Willoughby B. Dobbs IV, fiancé of Melissa McGue, all of Rockville, MD. Also surviving is a sister; Leslie Sweeney, and a brother; John E. Dobbs.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E Main Street, Terre Hill, PA 17581. A viewing will be held for one hour prior to the time of service. Interment with military honors will be held in Terre Hill Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
