Zina G. Houck

Zina G. Houck, 78, of Narvon, PA, passed away on June 30, 2025, at Keystone Villa at Ephrata. She was born in Gilbert, WV, to her late parents, Aubrey E. and Icy (Taylor) Hatfield. Her husband of 56 years, Dale E. Houck, survives at home.

Zina was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked for many years at Pepperidge Farms and Fleur De Lait Foods Inc., in New Holland. In her spare time, she enjoyed frequent visits to Pocahontas County, WV, to spend time at the family cabin. While there she and Dale enjoyed hiking the trails around their home. She had a great fondness for flowers and enjoyed the time she spent in her gardens.

In addition to her husband, Zina is survived by her son, Todd M. Houck and his fiancée Mary Lurwick, granddaughter, Rebecca Houck, and her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Houck and Dominic Guilarte. In addition, Zina is survived by her brother, Melvin Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, Zina was a predeceased by her siblings, Loretta Mounts, Gail Daddario, Doug Hatfield and Benny Hatfield.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 West Main Street, New Holland, PA, beginning at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home beginning at 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
